Bristol Wood Recycling Project is a non-profit organisation focusing on collecting and reusing wood. It is a social enterprise that offers low entry jobs to locals. This allows for the sale of reclaimed cleaned wood at an affordable price. Their aim is to leave no waste of the materials they collect. Wood is sorted into different categories; its remains are turned into bespoke furniture or firewood. At the beginning of 2018, the organization moved into a new 1100 square meter workspace hosting a wood workshop and various storage spaces. Additionally, they own three vans to collect materials from demolition sites in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
