Corvelyn specialises in the acquisition and transformation of old timber. Wood floors, parquets, panelling and staircases are some of the products that can be installed at the customer’s site.
All of the wood arriving at Corvelyn is first vacuum dried. The planks are sorted by hand, nails are removed, then tongues and grooves are applied. The visible surfaces are never sanded or oiled, at most they are protected with beeswax at the time of use. The emphasis is placed on preserving the patina of the wood. The company has a showroom, workshops and a heated stock room of around 2,500 m² in Aalter.
