Antikwerk GmbH developed out of a joinery specialised in the restoration of antique furniture which was founded in 1989 by Marc Pollack. In 1995 they started to gather historic building materials. Today they offer a wide variety of antique furniture and materials such as: old wood, doors, windows, bricks, fittings, wood floors, roof tiles, tiles, sanitary. The huge stock is very well organized and stored on 3000 m² divided in three different locations. As of today the company includes a carpentry, three storage locations, showroom, café and an event location. They employ 13 workers including office, carpenter, apprentices and services for the café. 

The materials are gathered within a radius of 70 km and the demolition work is done by themselves. Services they offer are: a great expertise within the field of historic material and the reuse of those, planning and execution of interior design, restoration, changing of dimensions of doors and windows, stripping and sanding.

A small part of the stock is sold on their own webshop but you can buy everything directly at there place.

Die Antikwerk GmbH entwickelte sich aus einer auf die Restaurierung antiker Möbel spezialisierten Schreinerei, welche 1989 von Marc Pollack gegründet wurde. Ab 1995 begann man mit dem Sammeln historischer Baustoffe. Heute bietet das Unternehmen eine große Auswahl an antiken Möbeln und Materialien wie: Altholz, Türen, Fenster, Ziegel, Beschläge, Holzböden, Dachziegel, Fliesen und Sanitärgegenstände. Der riesige Bestand ist sehr gut organisiert und wird an drei verschiedenen Standorten auf insgesamt 3000 m² gelagert. Heute umfasst das Unternehmen eine Schreinerei, drei Lagerräume, einen Ausstellungsraum, ein Café und einen Veranstaltungsraum. Sie beschäftigen 13 Mitarbeiter, darunter eine Teamassistentin, Schreiner*innen, Auszubildende und Servicekräfte für das Café.

Die Materialien stammen in der Regel aus einem Umkreis von 70 km. Die Abbrucharbeiten werden in Eigenregie durchgeführt. Zu den Dienstleistungen, die angeboten werden, gehören: ein großes Fachwissen im Bereich historischer Materialien und deren Wiederverwendung, Planung und Ausführung von Innenausstattungen, Restaurierung, Maßänderungen von Türen und Fenstern, Abbeizen und Abschleifen.

Ein kleiner Teil des Bestands wird über den eigenen Webshop verkauft, der Rest vor Ort.
