The many piles of wooden beams around the Europort hangars clearly demonstrate what is going on inside. Europort specialises in the recovery and treatment of old French oak. The family business began as dealers in reclaimed timber in 1983 and grew over the years, with a workshop and a show room.

Working closely with local demolition firms, Europort looks for old oak in all four corners of France. Thanks to a large network of contacts, Europort has gradually developed a substantial stock of timber from the wood floors of train carriages, wooden frames and planks from old barns. On their premises, the timber is dried, cleared of nails, sawn and treated with great care. The wood is then properly transformed into parquet flooring, staircases, doors and furniture. In addition, Europort has a stock of parquet floors several hundred years old, such as chevron-patterned parquet.
