Houthandel Schimmel is a spin-off of the established demolition contractor W.G. Schimmel. Since 2018, the company has its own site dedicated to the storage and sale of materials recovered from its own construction sites. These are mainly structural timber, supplemented by diverse types of wooden planks. Schimmel also has a small supply of doors, panelling and various interior elements that deserve a second life. Beams and planks are always nailed down, other processing and transport is done on request or by the customer. The material trade is growing fast, but for the time being it is only aimed at individuals looking for small quantities.
