Set up as a family run business in 1977, Downfast Demolition was originally established to undertake projects in East Kent with high volumes of architectural salvage; which they cleaned, processed and resold back into the local marketplace. As time progressed, so did their success as a family-run business. This ignited their growth in the construction industry and began their evolution into DDS Demolition; which has now become known nationwide. They are mainly a demolition company, however, they have various services; such as asbestos removal, groundwork, civils, crushing and screening, site clearance, structural alteration and strip out, waste management and plant hire. Alongside all of this, since day one, they always did architectural salvage before anyone was even talking about it. This is something the company has been very proud of. The company specializes in salvaging what they can from each demolition site.
