Antiquités Thierry May is located in the town centre of Fontainebleau. M. May created the company , which specialises in the purchase, restoration and sale of architectural antiques for France and Europe, in 1965.
There are two showrooms, and a third location serves as a joinery and stone cutting workshop. There is a wide range of architectural items for sale, from rectangular terracotta tiles to some exceptional pieces like Louis XV fireplaces.
Wooden and stone elements can be restored, resized and repainted in situ in accordance with the customer’s wishes. Thanks to the craftsmanship of the three people working in the company, Antiquités Thierry May also creates new replica items.
