Deixalles was founded in 1986 through an initiative of Càritas and PIMEM (Mallorcan small and medium enterprises). It counts 8 sites across the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Mallorca and 2 shops in Palma for 208 workers, with a very large majority of social integration contract. Deixalles source reusable from domestic collection as well as diverting goods for reuse from the waste management centres that they are operating on the island.
