Cotto Artigiano

They are situated in a restored farmhouse in Lazio's region owned by an old couple who work together since 1961 in the reclaiming industry. They are of Neapolitan origins, but they settled in Viterbo to work terracotta, thanks to the presence of many kilns that are no longer active. Since 1990 their focus has changed to bricks and wooden parquet floors, which are hand cleaned and restored in their small workspace behind the showroom. They use the workshop and their water saws to cut the bricks into half and make 1sqm glued brick tiles. Usually, their thickness is between 2,5 cm and 3,0 cm.

They have a showroom and a few representatives in the USA, mainly in Los Angeles, but they also work closely with Europe. Their stock is limited, but they can, according to the clients, give an estimate for preparing and shipping the products. The really friendly couple could also help with a few installation tips or how to manipulate the material better.
